Webinar: Learnings and recommendations for demand-driven and procurement of innovation regional policies.

The EU project PREPARE has been working on designing demand-driven innovation policies that fit into the realities of the European regions. These policies help agencies that promote innovation (like Regional Development Agencies) to launch instruments that connect customers with local solution providers. The objective is to improve the delivery of public services, create new business opportunities for SMEs and generate regional growth.

During the last 12 months, project partners have designed models and instruments that put in value innovation funding, such as ERDF, available at regional level. Also, partners have collected learnings and recommendations when interacting with the local ecosystems in the regions of Murcia (ES), Oulu (FI), Skåne (SE) and Bucharest-Ilfov (RO).

Webinar participants will:

  • Get to know the models, learnings and policy recommendations for procurement of innovation and demand driven approaches.
  • Understand the benefits of the collaboration between public organizations and local innovators.
  • Learn how successful innovations can survive the ´valley of death´ by incorporating impactful innovation principles.
  • Access a free online database of 400+ resources on innovation procurement and demand-driven innovation.
  • Share their own experiences, interests and knowledge requests during the interactive part of the webinar.
  • Be the first to know about upcoming free capacity-building and funding opportunities to uptake the outputs of PREPARE.

The webinar takes place on the 5th of December at 11:00 CET.

The PREPARE project ends in December 2024. Join the webinar while the project is still active!
